Seemed to spend more time yelling at the class than he did actually teaching. Most teachers can get a class of teenagers to shut up and pay attention in a fairly short amount of time, so why can't he? By the time he's done ranting about how noisy we were coming in the period started 15 minutes ago and now it's "our" fault for wasting time. Woop woop.
He is bad at teaching. He speaks in a quiet monotonal voice that I found difficult to hear. He is very very good at mathematics, probably the best in the school. His constant references to cats and right wing opinions on everything are very amusing. He is very helpful if you ask him to explain something and provides plenty of revision. He gives fair notice coming up to tests and exams and told us what we needed to study.
Very good teacher. Cares about math as opposed to boring school stuff. Funny. Unlike most math teachers, could be considered a mathematician. Gives non-boring problems at non-zero frequency (again, unlike most math teachers).
I can't understand him
He is really easy going and funny. Unlike most teachers, he actually cares about teaching rather than showing off his knowledge. He speaks the truth and I have learned a lot from him this year.
I am in M1, and i can't stand the man. He wrote a detention box on the board. First it was called 'Evil' then it was 'Wevil' and finally 'Weevils'. I don't understand a thing and he certainly doesn't take the time to explain anything.
He's a really cool person, although his teaching method wasn't easy to understand for most, but I really liked him :)
Mr Warren is a great teacher. He is very helpful, tolerant and kind although most of the people cant see it because they just talk in class. His teaching methods are very good as well. And he know a lot about maths. His son Louis is also very nice. Overalll Mr.Warren is very nice if u are nice to him and do the work properly.
Mr Warren is a character. His accent makes his anger a cause of constant amusement to everyone within earshot. I sit down the back gazing into space, because Warren's attitude to teaching me is pretty much "That boy is too stupid to learn!" Perhaps one day he will be in mortal peril and his son Louis will have to leap in and do some rapid calculations to save the day once again -_- If he ever gets the chance, an explanation of what the hell he was talking about the whole year would be nice...
Loves his calculator. He has good intentions but yup definitely hard to follow if he's teaching something you don't know. And I got told off quite a bit for trying to help my mates understand.
Mr Warren is my teacher for two years. I like him a lot, he's so cool. He teaches pretty well. I think his method is a bit hard to understand at first but it works well on me
Things not always totally clear. Expects us to know things that we really don't know and doesn't always take the time to explain them clearly. Good at encouraging us to do out best though! Doesn't settle for anything less. Doesn't always have control although that is training. Sometimes goes off the subject. Overall things are O.K though!
ALWAYS SIDE TRACKED! DOESNT EXPLAIN THINGS APPARENTLY WE CANT BE SPOON FEED! AGH! DNT LIKE HIM AE
well his disciplinary technique was interesting. I always got in trouble when he would show me how to do it so i asked mi friends and got kicked out 4 talking then 4got about 4 the rest of the period. Im sure he would be a good teacher if you were already good at maths
teaching style based on "i refuse to tell you the answer, work it our yourself" difficult at first but you really come to appreciate it later on when you need to be flexable in maths. i like him now. didnt a couple of years ago when i had him though.
