This man is awesome - he taught me in the late 80's. Good to hear he is still going!
It's the fact the he cares about you, which makes him such a good teacher. He actually wants to help, and when you take a problem to him.. he listens to everyone's side of the story, also, he takes the time to get to know people, and is very proud of them once they do well.
He taught me seven years ago and helped me out when my family had problems. Mr Walton gave me confidence, convinced me I could become a teacher and now I am! Thanks very much, Sir.
Best teacher in the school. Knows heaps and gave up his lunchtimes to help our group pass.
We are in Sydney on a drama trip with him right now! Having a fantastic time. Couldn't ask for a nicer teacher. Our favourite.
Excellent teacher. Still passionate about his subject and came in at weekends to work with our class.
Cool dude. Works hard and expects us to do the same.
Can be helpful, but can also drive you insane. He stresses over silly things and doesn't always focus on what he should.
Great teacher for drama. Really goes out of his way to help the group's pass.
Good teacher but he is of no help if he is going to outline the leason and then go and sit in his little room for as long as 45 minutes. Good intentions though.
One of the absolute best. lessons were interesting and unpredictable, hard to believe we aced the other classes - never felt like it was work. Really goes the extra mile.
Full on but a lot of fun. Gave up his spare time for our class.
On a drama trip with him now and having a wonderful time. He goes the extra mile and I am lucky enough to have him as my English teacher too. Great teacher and always interesting!
Killer English teacher - got me a scholarship! My friends say he's a top drama teacher too.
Helped me out when I had a big problem and got me through Year 13 English and drama.
One of the best teachers I've ever had. Brilliant. Has a great relationship with all of his students. Tailors his classes towards high achievers AS WELL as those struggling. One in a thousand.
Best teacher I ever had. Good fun but can be strict also.I will really miss him.
Sir was the only teacher who could teach me how to understand nouns and verbs.
Did you read in the newspaper about him - used to be a genuine rock star! And he never talks about it!Great teacher and heaps of fun.
Rules. Good fun but also a good listener. Puts students first and loves his subject. Hope he is my teacher next year too.
Absolutely terrible. Worst teacher I ever had. No sense of humour, in a bad mood all the time. I don't think he smiled once the whole year. Really shockingly awful. (Mind you, it could be the Alzheimer's, eh Walty?) In seriousness, though, I've never met anyone like him and he's had a huge influence on my life. You couldn't ask for a better mentor and role model. Gives you confidence in your own ability while still being challenging and pushing you forward. Love the mirror in his office.
Used to be real funny together, him and Drabbles. Sorry he is not English so much any more but will be a great drama teacher im sure.
Gave up his holidays to help us with our drama assessment and smiled all through it. Good fun but knows when to be serious.Should be more like him.
He is so awesome! So gutted that he had to leave our class this year!!! He taught me how to speak horse!!!
The mullet man! best teacher i had.Gives up his own time to help you.
Very sad that Mr Walton won't get to see how much his students like him with these comments after he said he wouldn't go on this site. But he's working so hard for us this year to make sure we have lots of notes and practice for the exams. It's a shame he won't be an English Teacher next year as he is very good at it. He makes English fun with his queer sense of humour- it's great. Thankyou Mr Walton, just incase you do get curious to visit this site!
omg mr walton is the funnyest man on earth!! hes so awsum, hes really strange but really hilarious
He made english really fun last year, but maybe didn't prepare us as well for some of the externals as he could have. Or maybe I just wasn't listening =P
