Its a shame he had to leave, but he contributed a lot during his decade in charge.
He is a great Rector and in this case strictnes and obstenity with morals and values is a good thing. He is epic and it is sad to see him leave Boys High. Auckland Grammer is a lucky school that is in for a culture shock. Garters and Hair cuts for the Win!
He is a gc when not in rector mode, but quite sad that he is leaving. Now we will get some helmet
such a boss! haters should learn off him !
Fits the school and what the school stands for. However, looking back, I strongly question these strongly traditional values and I think the school overrates itself. We live in 2011, PNBHS is in 1911.
Knows what hes doing, friendly and cool. knows everyones names, easy to get along with, love swhat he does and does a good jod. an inspiring leader, tells you what he expects. wants you to be the best
I love it how hes always out around the school, not lazing about. hes awesome
awsome wise guy easy to get along with. real insperation.
seems to be an awsome teacher who knows what hes talking about
ooooh yea mr oconner is da best rector/headmaster/principal/tribal-chief eva. thumbs up 2 him.
MR O'CONNOR he a very nice guy full respect 4 him top dogz sir
Fantastic at his job, couldn't find a better man for it. All I wish is for him to smile once in a while! :)
Did a good job covering up the TB problem, only the odd student with a cough
Even though I go to Girl's High, I've met ol Tim, and he's a realy nice guy! Who cares about not having chicks around, or mufti days! Get over it I reckon guys. You could be a lot worse off than you are! And as for the being grumpy comment, wouldn't you be grumpy too if you had to babysit 1800 teenage boys who complained about no mufti days?
no mufty days, no women to impress. do what ur told and u'll be fine, plenty of other schools available 4 incompetant fools... Nihil Boni Sine LaBore!!! Good easy going guy.
He does very well to look after a school of this amount watch out for gosling hes after your seat lol !!!!!!!!
My Question is whenm did tradition start yes we need a good set of rules but in think TOC and previouse rector have taken it to far. I understand that we want to look good but maybe and odd mufty day
Good Rector. Knows what he wants and how he is going to get it. Has a big ego but can back it up obviously.
one of the reasons why this school one of the best in NZ is cuz of TOC, yeah at times, his ego need to be turned down a notch, but otherwise a great role model.
Real good guy in person. As the Rector he can be a major drag,a little more enthusiasm when addressing the school would be good, the jokes are sometimes good tho.Cool how he remembers ppls names (trys)
Mr Oconnor is a great rector and a great role model for all. He is perfect for the job, keep on going as you are sir and you will produce many young successful leaders. you are the man!!!!
Alright. A good person, a little misguided and quick to temper. And the fact he can't confront someone personally and has to do it via Post-It notes doesn't help (he knows why).
i reckon he's a bit obssessed with tradition and sometimes takes it too far. otherwise he's really cool.
He is very young for headmaster but he defies per-conceptions and does a great job. Great esprit de corps for his school and genuine care for his students.
I have met much better Headmasters, far two young for the job
The best! though i have to agree, the monotone gets a bit boring sir. [and i think you use the word "certainly" too much]
love the banter he gives out about staff and we all like it. Its all fun and what we are all abouit . Go pnbhs.. He is fair and keeping standards at school. Top rector i n 100 years
last year i had 4 a hockey coach, he is the man, would love 2 hav him a as a teacher
I think He is a nice guy when he is not in his rector mode and when he is in rector mode his ego is massive he needs to be taken down a peg!!
hes a great rector for the school, makes me proud to be a P.N.B.H.S student!
Toc is on a power trip and needs to be taken down a peg or two. Him and The Anti-Fun Gestapo (Senior Management) ruin just about everything, his policy of 'education first' is a joke (i.e. Prefects)
Very very good, performance in his job is excellent. Keeps up the schools high standard. Wise man and great leader. Proud to have him as rector during my time at PHBHS.
should add a little enthusiasm in his announcements in assembly, maybe a smile too
hez prety cool. needs to relax a bit aye but hez gud at his job nd thats wot counts...duznt it?
good reator, does his job really well. but always seems to try to get the last word in
hes cool.really funny when he rips teachers in assembly, find it halerious most times.however he shouldnt always try to get the last word in when sum1else makes a joke, always tries to get his word in
leadreship is what is all about good idea isir. New zealand needs future leadrers. The army man is our path to success.
