he was a really nice guy, maybe too nice for the rats and three birds in my 2006 english class
The only teacher to have ever climbed onto a desk, swung an electric cord around his head screaming, then jumped and knocked himself out for ten minutes. Thanks for the laughs T-bone
I still remember him climbing onto a table to read --- eh, I forget what, actually. I just remember the table. But, as a maths and science guy myself, he was the only English teacher I had who gave me a shot at enjoying the class..
man this guy was a legend sadly he retired after having him 2 years in a row wish he was still there learnt a whole lot
I am a parent and I can vouch that this teacher single-handedly brought my boy into line and gave him a reason to start learning. My wife and I will be always grateful for Mr Calder and his magic.
he taut me real gd englsh & i thnk hes da man! sweet bro
He is an ok teacher if you listen to him but his inability to control the class really lets him down. Often studies texts at junior levels where the ideas are to high intellectually.
Always very through and motivated me. Thanks for that.
Are you guys on crack? He doesn't have a clue what he's on about-year after year he is the worst performing teacher and doesn't have the worst students!
what are you all talking about, those bird calls are the most entertaining part of English.
A very patient and enthusiastic teacher. He knows his stuff and is passionate about teaching it.
Key to Success, if you annoy him enuf he will throw the nearest book at you then spend the rest of the lesson apoligising to the book
Makes English fun and is an interesting Teacher. Good guy too, really genuinely nice!
He truly cares about everyone in his classes and just wants the best of his students, hes that sorta guy. Jjust get to know him and youll find hes a really passionate teacher and a good cat to have a talk to. He makes English entertaining
great guy but , he has to lay of the deans refferals a bit . i like the way he sneeks around da class room snopping for the kid at the back eating
Had him in good old third form and I looked forward to every english period. Thanks Mr Calder you made me like English. Such a passionate teacher and a great guy.
Good ol' t-bone. He is definately passionate about what he teaches, which you come to realise when he starts acting out the scenes from whatever book you're studying.

Mr Calder is a fantastic man. One of the most Passionate teachers in the school and is an enjoyable man to be around. He is very kind, patient and encouraging. One of the most underrated teachers in the school.
Tim Calder is a great teacher. So much passion, and such interesting lessons. One of the few teachers who made Wellington College bearable.
