Greatest living maths teacher in the history of the universe, the only number he doesn't know about is the number of times he is better than Ms Sun.
always happy to help students!!
Mr Lyster's love of Minion's was at times distracting and occasionally humourous. He is a very approachable guy and is very helpful and clear when teaching. Don't get hit by his projectile stress ball-computer-thingy. Mr Lyster tends to digress easily- we get it Steve. You were at the Berlin Wall in 1989. And your man crush is Dave Grohl. We get it.
Mr Lyster was such a helpful and friendly maths teacher for me last year (Year 9). He helps everybody and is fair and i love his little plush computer screen thing he throws are students that isn't paying attention :P
Everyone in class last year passed all the tests.
Mr Lister makes lists about all of the lists that he has listed on a listing day of listing. He list-ens to his lists to see if he needs a list of the lists that are too loud.
A very approachable and friendly teacher. Mr Lyster is highly experienced, clear in setting out and explaining tasks, and has a fantastic, subtle sense of humour... "and all the rest of it..."
A really great maths teacher overall. Has a way of making us laugh pretty much every day, with things like that little minature plush thing he throws at people's heads when they fall asleep during class. Yet, he still has a way of getting us do actually do our work and is fair with punishments.
among his nicknames; Lysterine, because he removes stains from classes. Great teacher, football coach and overall legend
Best teacher ever. Love his favourite quote with parabolas 'I woke up the temp was 3oc and dropped 2oc so it's 1oc' and the quote 'If i'm not mistaken' so overall he's a legend
In third form, he was strict and not likeable. In fact most hated him with a passion. In seventh form he changed completely and has reached the elusive GC status. Power to you sir
Mr Lyster is an excellent teacher. Unlike some he has the amazing ability to control the class at any time. His teaching style is great too. He goes over all work thoroughly so everyone understands. Probably one of my best teachers
Great teacher. I've learnt a lot from him. With his favourite quote "If I'm not mistaken..." and the funny-looking face (love his unique moustache on the moustache day) he is one of the best teachers I have at Wltn College.
Inconsistent but trys hard. Almost like a flawed Ashby. Overall he cares about students but attitude is sometimes worrying
This man did the best job of teaching our class in 3rd form (2002)We learnt what the College is all about when he said 'We are firm but fair' He breaks you in to the College and you respect and admire him So much for that in later years. More of him!
I think Mr LYster is a quality teacher who teaches his lessons at a pace students can not only understand their topic content, but to comprehend and understand it well.
With a quirky sense of humour and a realistic outlook on his subject and students, Mr. Lyster really changed me when I did my last year of maths. I went from loathing it and failing, to hating it with a few excellences under my belt. Thanks, sir.
great teacher, best maths teacher ever! learned alot from this guy! grows a great handlebar aswell haha! really strict teaching but makes sure his students understand
