I think she had a bit of a personal joke with each girl in the class. Some knew how to take it, some didn't. She never purposely picked on only certain people. Great teacher, sorely missed.
Ms Ashton changed my life. She was an excellent teacher. I only had her for one year, and then she left. I actually cried. She was amazing. I miss her. She got me into history a lot.
Good teacher, but far too personal with the students. it is wrong to know so much about our personal lives and bring it up in front of the whole class!!
I had Ms Ashton when I was in Year 9. She was a bit intimidating at first, and there were girls she liked, and girls she seemed to pick on. I was neither. A nice enough teacher.
I totally agree that she picked sides in the class... if you weren't one of "her" girls you were picked on mercilessly for the year. She was the only teacher who I really despised... I couldn't even make it through the year and dropped out. The funny thing was she thought she was cool but wasn't!
Omg she hated me, the feeling became mutual, she sorta divided the class up into people she did and didn't like. The only reason i passed year 13 history in the end was not because i went to class.
THE BEST TEACHER EVER!!!!! i love how the way she teaches & the essay re-writes REALLY help me to improve my skills! really funny!
