he let me sit there with Lata and do nothing, he wouldn't let us see his laptop cause he was watching youtube.
ok i regret everything bad i have ever said about Mr Hooks, he may have ignored me and multiple other students when asking questions in class but now that i have a different geography teacher you kinda learn to understand how good at his job he really is, so i miss stacey and his neat handwriting and detailed notes
Bad teacher leaves the class for 20 minutes every lesson
He's nice and helpful I miss him though
He is really nice and kind :)
his hand writing is very neat
Back when had him, our class was hardly attentive. But despite that Mr Hooks made the effort to teach, and teach well. To put it simply, he's probably the reason why I have come to like subjects in the social sciences department as much as I do. Great teacher and forever thankful!
He's pretty easy to work with and has really clear handwriting. He has good knowledge to what he is teaching us. He got us ready for exams pretty well. Great JOB Mr. Hooks you have been a great teacher!
Mr.Hooks is a great geography teacher! He is very knowledgable, and it's easy to understand his explanations. However, he really needs to control the class more especially when it gets really noisy. I feel bad when he's trying to teach but there are people who NEVER stop talking :/
No too sure if he knows who we are with his blank looks he gives. Gets upset when you don't get E so do well kiddies. Best diagrams and handwriting we've ever seen. He's hilarious and knows his stuff, so make sure you listen to him although it's easy to get distracted.
Was taught by Mr Hooks from around 2006-2009. He has no idea but most of the class ended up studying Geography at university, and we all ended up appreciating immensely just how informative and in-depth he was. GEOGRAPHY IS LIFE
Mr Hooks is a great social studies teacher. I always look forward to social studies. You actually learn from him and he has good control over the class even though he barely ever tells people off. Very good teacher!
Mr Hooks is a great teacher when it comes to giving information. He is the neatest male teacher I know, and he gives us detailed noted and diagrams. He barely ever controls the class, and lets the ann
I don't think he's that well organised... He's late to most of his classes and he's really boring - we only copy down notes as well as listen at the same time.
Great teacher if he ever actually talked 2 us =D Spent most of the time ignoring us.. Still got gr8 results tho from his epic notes =D
Mr Hooks was a really knowledgable teacher and i though he was really great at explaining complicated things. hes a nice person too and was really helpful througout the year. Gives fantastic notes and makes sure you are prepared for exams. Pushes you to do better without being mean or hard out
he is a good teacher and he really knows so much about geography u just have to listen. sumtimes i think he doesn't hear people wen u ask a question but he explains everything so well it doesn't really matter
After 3 years I've come to love his classes. It's easy to tune out if you're not used to him, but he's incredibly knowledgable, and really, what other teacher would cope with half the 4th form extension class jumping out the windows and running wild among the cows on Smales Farm? (True story!)
i disagree with the last comment the diference bettween a tv n mr hooks is that on a tv u can change the channel he knows heaps n gets the info across well enough but he jst neeeds 2 put a bit more fun in the classes
hes like a tv if you ask him a question he'd just go on he knows what he's on about but he's not very good at teaching
He has an amazing memory for what to write on the board... Knows what he's talking about, but I find it a little hard to concentrate during those *longer* discussions.
Has a lot to say, I just can't see how he manages to remember all the stuff he knows. It's like, BAM and it's on the board and you have to listen and copy at the same time.
I had him for 2 years and although he can be boring he knows what he's talking about.
