We shall never forget the great Roger Moses.
A good man who makes time for people in need. The origin of some brilliant memes
Perhaps was once a fine educator, now nothing more than a diplomat. He is worried about being seen to do the right thing, not doing the right thing and is presiding over some teachers who behave like school-masters of a bi-gone era. TIme to move on - his longevity could well be stopping the adoption of modern school culture.
It is disappointing, we've been in that school working with year 9 and 10 students, but that in itself is not going to change a whole culture. Positive messages need to come from different people, and different directions.
he is a very kind teacher that helps if you need problems
Good bloke. Emphasizes on sport a bit too much and only gets to know if you if your the top of something, but makes an effort to get involved - supports the low ranked sports teams, comes out to meet us at lunch. Idol for WC
An icon in Wellington, his drive and ambition has developed Wellington Colleges academic success to where it is now.
Happy face he's a good headmaster......................................................................
top bloke, dedicated and loyal, best principal ever of best school in country. trusted and respective of school community and family
You may think he's reading the school prayer off a piece of paper.. BUT he's actually looking over at the assembly notes/agenda. so he's multi tasking.
He's actually pretty awesome, don't know what the other guys are on about.
Roger Moses is an exceptional principal, a strong leader, a man of high integrity, and one who has the welfare of the pupils first.
Great Headmaster. He spends a lot of time on the students at school.
Had Roger as a teacher and deputy principal at Waihi College. Brilliant man and teacher, very passionate about his students and their success. Great guy.
u gota love him, if not for anythng mre thn his pearls of wisdom. "if you don't like it here, there's a perfectly good school down the road", or "don't you dare", or "we are bursting at the seems gentlemen", or "let me make it unbundantly clear"
Moses, great man, great character and great mind. After leaving WC for boarding school i really understood how well coll is run, i think this mainly because of moses and his great love and comittment for the college. Moses for national next election?
Seemed to look meaner back in the days before we got his beard shaved off. Grow it back man, then you can actually look mean in assembly when you rant at the students.
Not bad, nice guy if you get a chance to get to know him, but definitely a poor man's Harvey Rees-Thomas. Now THAT guy is a LEGEND!
I salute you sir, powerful man. I am proud to have gone to Wellington College and you as a headmaster taught me that pride. Coll boys for life
Is there anyone else for the job? I don't think so. He is passionate about the college and yes, he likes to win but who doesn't?! His comments about other schools are simply in his competitve nature. He does his job well. What more can you want?
upmost good guy, people complain that he dosen't know their name but with 1500 students and a hundred teachers at coll its hard to remember peoples names unless you give him a reason to.
Yes. If he is such a good Principal then how come someone here is so illiterate they failed to spell the word Principal correctly. In my opinion he is a good Principal but focuses too much on the sport side of the college.
Yeah good guy, he has his heart in the right place, but yes I don't like the way if our sports teams lose something he blames it often on other schools having tons of money or something stupid.
we are very lucky to have Mr Moses. he belives in WC and is the reason WC is so successful. This man deserves a medal!
Bit of a funny guy. Might have been better suited 40 years ago. Please give a good rating or he'll get annoyed and rant about this site in assembly... Might be slightly amusing actually
Bullying is never going to go away Moses so you might want to stop the big perge against it because if it hasnt stopped by now it aint ever going to stop!!!!
Very dedicated headmaster. attends all school event whether it be drama, sport or music. He is greatly respected by all.
I find it peculiar that he cannot remember the school prayer and hymns after so many years and countless times saying them. Also insults other schools sporting teams and rides upon the glory of students in both academic and sporting fields.
Those who dislike Roger Moses are quite plainly idiots. I am Mr Moses is one of the best headmasters around. Wellington College is built around its uniquely uncomprimising ethics and moral values which are all sustained by this honourable man.
Well... He ok... I feel some people dont know him very well. While he may be a good guy when your on top, be it winning on a sport field or doing well wherever. But if u fail... He insane. Cant take losing or misbehaving students. makes funny faces
Efficient principal. He knows what he wants from his school and he gets what he wants most of the time. My favourite quote would be "Wellington College has a very long waiting list... if you don't want to be here, there are plenty of people waiting"
This man is greatly respected among both students and teachers. He is the crown on top of the school's face - an extraordinary one!!!
I feel he always wished Coll was a private school. But at least he seemed to care, and can always be seen supporting even the 'less capable' teams on a Saturday morning.
The true face of Wellington College, one question remains, is it a face we should all be proud to have? Or is it a facade? At the end of the day, he is charismatic and an inspiration speaker who commands an amazing respect from his school.
Roger loves our school. You gotta feel sorry for the guy having to live on site. His dedication would be hard to beat.
A cool guy. Though he is prone to making funny faces without realising
He's alllrrriiight, I guess. Tries to help, but not always helpful. Too into sports. In his own little world much of the time.
The Dumbledore of headmasters. Give the man a medal.
hes a great man. a pillar of strength when young lads need it most.
