Second favourite teacher alongside mr Barnett, he's (can't remember her name) favourite teacher and she's his favourite student but I am pleasured to be taught by him, unlike her. Awesome and funny guy, bummer next year is my last year with him :(
He's the best teacher I've ever had and is really fun, yet I learn heaps in his class
very funny. makes class enjoyable
Inspirational...set the path for a career!!
one of the coolest teachers i've had, he's hella funny and always tells the coolest stories. He's makes class fun and I actually learn stuff as well.
I had him for Year 10 bea and he was awesome, he taught me the work & i passed well but he let me text in class and would always ask me who i was texting. He didn't really mind if you did the work/homework or not and just said it was our fault if he didn't pass. He gave me 3 chocolate bars one time too (:
Had him for 12 accounting and 13 economics and he was the best teacher I've ever had! I wish he taught in universities too haha
I had Mr Hughes as my Economics teacher in Year 13, and his teaching style is typical for a lecturer/tutor in university.
He does NOT teach his students what words to write in order to extend the Achieved to Merit, etc., but will engage meaningful discussions with you, from his past experiences (and a good sense of humour, of course). He is not as strict on disciplines as some other teachers I've met; as long as you're not disrupting his teaching he won't mind. And he doesn't go off big time if you haven'
At first I thought "meeeh...he's not that good..." but then I thought he's pretty cool. He realises that school does not need homework and lots and lots of hard work. We use up about half the period to learn everything, and then the rest is story time, lol.
too intelligent to be a teacher, that's for sure. very creative and knowledgable, very worldy. i honestly don't understand why he teaches, he could easily be anything he wants but instead he looks after the 4th form accounting brats. if you have any brains at all and a smidgeon of work ethic you will flourish in this mans classroom
i love having him as a teacher. good stories, great at drawing and he's FUNNY.
awesome, funny, good helpful teacher...tells funny stories, good drawer.
Goes off on tangents often, and tends to explain things in a roundabout sort of way that results only in further confusion. Then his class gets poor marks in tests and he seems genuinely confused as to why.
best teacher I ever had. Inspired me to go on and succeed
a teacher that was able to keep the class's attention where it was needed, i still remember much that he taught me as i enjoyed his classes instead of going to sleep.
What can I say.. I can only agree.. Great methods of teaching. He can draw really well. Goes off topic sometimes.. Good examples. "Fox lying in wait"
Mr Hughes is the best accounting teacher ever!!!!!! i had so much fun n his class this year. too bad i don't have accounting anymore :(
awesome teacher really cool and funny. has really good fraud stories to tell!!
Awesome Teacher. I had him for Y13 economics. Hilarious stories made it easier to understand. One of the best teachers at BHS
hey mr hughes i learnt heaps from you and your realli funny and your classes are realli cool so r ur drawings of boats nd stuff on the whiteboard!!! he he
What an awesome teacher,,, always full of fraud stories hahaha I had him in Year 10 and this year in Year12. Such a fun and interesting teacher.
always fun lessons, kind of goes off topic abit but has an interesting insightful view of things.
Pretty good teacher overall, but does tend to deviate from the topic at times. Entertaining anecdotes, captures the atttention of the class.
Fantastic teacher. Always a story to tell and yet a very thorough teaching style.
Gave the most interesting classes ever. Could explain almost anything in a fun way - always learned heaps and laughed lots. Fantasic stories for every class, will always remember Mr. Hughes.
