thinks he a comedian! should focus more on helping kids do well. if he did that i have no doubt he would be a good teacher
Class of 2005 here, had Mr Bright for a couple of years as an English teacher. Lacks the spark that most teachers have, seems to go through the motions as a teacher, treats it as a job more than a car
We smoke the blunt afterschool each day, pretty decent guy; marks media studies harshley, but all gudz.
i put a picture of a lawn mower on my essay and got excellence for it so he's got my vote.
Megalomaniac. very judgemental and assumes too much about people and potential. strange man with strange values.
It's not a feeling. He does smoke and I know it for a fact. Not that it bothers me nor does it affect his personality. Likeable and helpful, but haven't had him as a teacher. But from what I've heard, he knows his stuff and knows how to teach. But he is a bit egocentric, to be honest.
Ive got a feeling he smokes he goes out of our class then says he is going to the toilet then comes out with a smoke smell in his breath but he is a good teacher
he thinks hes the man and is now becoming the cycling teacher we really dont want him
Condescending towards students. Uses his position as head of english to talk down to students that fail.
He seems unusual and kinda weird but he knows what hes doing and whats best for you to pass english he improves all of the classes grades believe it or not i got 56% in the midyears and when mr bright replaced our teacher and in the same year i got 82% and that an improvement dont you think///?
Thinks he can intimidate students. Told our class that "he was bigger than most of us". Seems to be stuck in the old days where size did matter, not that a teacher should be concerned with fighting students anyway. Good teacher when he teaches and doesn't spend his time picking on people and making generalisations. His past experiences in life appear to make him stereotype teenagers into being "druggies" and "waggers". If you want to pass, he can help you. If you want to learn peacefully, don't have him....
excellent teacher . though his ways of teaching may appear to be strange at first, he will improve the quality of writing for every class he teachers. exceeds the other english teachers in every way
Unique style where yelling and throwing his toys out of the cot seem to feature a lot. Interesting though that it seems to work. Shows Shakespeare film before reading text, much easier to understand.
LOL this teacher think that we cant see him smoke but he wrong. Anyway he's a funny teacher sometime
why does he go into bushed and smoke where all students can see? link with nature? i wonder everynight
MR BRIGHT is an outstanding teacher LIKE MR KEATING...HE seems to love teaching and care a lot about his students... he should know who I AM...!!!! THE HARD OUT GUY!!!
once you get past the yelling and fake anger he is a brilliant teacher, and the work he set us was actualy realy helpful, dispite my atatude towards the work at the time,
when he actually decides to teach he cant really be topped but he spends too much time on his (you know what) playing around on his computer. GET UP AND TEACH US! because when you do its brilliant!
Definately believes in making students work for themselves. He's hard, but he's fair. Has some interesting methods of extracting effort from his students.
Very unhelful teacher. seems to hve lost the spark for teaching. had him for two years, and not once did he attempt to help me progress. says he will help those who try, even then its rather sceptical
He dosnt care for what he does.if he wants to hit someone(which he cant do) he gets another student to do it for him.
Im afraid he might be watching us from his office in T-block......... But he is a good teacher... even if he enjoys scaring us.
Very interesting charater. A bit sarcastic at times. A great teacher but sometimes his instructions about due dates and work that needs to be handed in can be unclear.
His "torturing" of people is insanely entertaining. Guess people don't like his way of pushing people to extreme boundaries.
