Mr Glasson is such a warm and caring hearted guy. I had him back in 5th form and he made Maths so fun! All of us kids loved him and his warm personality.
He is such a nice and caring guy. Even now he loves saying hello and asking how my friends and I are.
Great teacher. Knows EVERYTHING about maths! Tends to "waffle" a bit but it is usually interesting...Always willing to help when it's needed (keen on his scraps of paper for that!)
Mr Glasson is a good teacher but he does go on a bit. I have learnt alot from him
Definately love his waffle sessions as they are very interesting. He's probably the best mathematics teacher i've had and he makes learning relatively easy.
he rambles on for ever and we end up doing no work. we need him to talk less so we can get some more practise and pass
There are a lot of bad reviews for this teacher, and sure he can be mean and slightly ignorant at times, but he is the maths teacher I learned most from, and that was in Year 9 - plus his short shorts were always good for a pun or two
he was a great maths teacher for me and i learned heaps through him. I think that his style of teaching only teaches some people and those that it doesn't work for- unlucky. I can't quite pinpoint what it is that makes only some people learn from him.
Mr Glasson always knows what he is talking about, unfortunately no-one else does. He tends to stray off topic occasionally and tends to explain things in the most complicated forway he can.
Excellent understanding of maths and really knows what he is talking about - except he does not understand those who don't. When people ask questions in class that are a bit stupid he laughs and makes fun of that person infron of the whole class, even when they seriously don't understand, so rather than getting the help they need they don't ask questions because it's not nice having the whole class laugh at you! needs to understand maths is like a forgien language to a lot of us and be more sympathetic
Mr Glasson is an excellent teacher for students that are motivated to learn. He isn't one to spoon feed material to you so obviously some students will find him unhelpful on the surface. However, he endorses one-on-one learning so if you are prepared to go to him for help, he will explain problems clearer than any maths teacher at pram. Therefore, probably not the best teacher if you are only doing maths because you have to, but a brilliant teacher to those that are enthuastic about the subject.
he is an ok teacher and has good understanding about maths and he really does not care if you have problems
