Mr Rae, helped me get Achieved Minus at year 10 silent reading. Probably my favourite and best subject. Thanks to Mr Rae, I didn't even study for my silent reading exam, still beat Max Finhurst. If you are interested in history, ask him about his experiences in the Napoleonic Wars. I can only hope he will be teaching NCEA Level 4 Food Technology when I'm in re-sitting year 13 for the 3rd time.
OLAY OLAY OLAY OLAY PETER RAE👏👏PETER RAE👏👏 heil peter rae and his remarkable teaching skills and military precission
Mr rae is the bomb, he taught us about when the Germans penetrated into Russia's nation. He is so swagswag that some people even say that doritoes and mountain dew were created from his magical brain powers, which he uses to fight crime.
He is the man and after serving 40 years at Westlake he is the godfather of WBHS. What a rowing coach as well.
Great Rowing Coach, he know heaps about the German Army!!
Best teacher in wbhs. He deserves a nobel price
Always a good laugh especially with his facial expressions when he has trouble with his computer. Can take a joke but is very serious when we go off topic.. yes we have ranks in our classroom
MR.RAE FOR HEADMASTER!!! The mans been teaching at Westlake for 36 years!!
Great Teacher, actually very good at teaching, and very enthusiastic. Keeps you interested as well. He does get a bit side tracked sometimes though, but is very knowledgable
absolute hero. greatest man to grace the corridors of westlake in history
Slightly 'different' which is good by most people. His vast life experiences and never waivering entuhsiasm which comes straight from his eyes is great. Can be easily confused. Can be taken for a ride by some students which is a great pity as he is a genuine good guy. Smiles as wide as a dinner plate when he puts onMicheal jackson 'man in the mirror' - Haha goood tyms. In all fairness he is actually very knowlegeable, its just he has a very sporadic memory nad conveying ideas to the class can be strained.
LOVES talking bout the Army which is always fun to hear. One day he burst into Tourism saying "THE SUPERBUG IS COMING!!!!" and now the class openly hassles him for it even though he doesn't realise. He's awesome though even if he did sign off my book as 12/05/2003 last week. Can't get enough!
Mr rea is really dedicated to the school and I really respect him , he is always willing to help students and does whatever he can to teach us best teacher at westlake
The funniest teacher ever. Best period of the day by far. Good on you Mr. Rea . Keep up the good work.
cool as teacher and mean dean and mean as social studies teacher
A true character. The funniest teacher i ever had at Westlake. Made Geo periods the best part of the day. Keep up the good work Mr. Rea. From a 2002 student of yours :)
Mad teacha!! knows his stuff, perfect essay!! haha yeah awesome teacha n deen A
extremely enthusiastic whos always up for a good joke. not a bad teacher 2!! a good joker that Mr Rae! loving the 7 tourism this year to, p.s. Henry Tam is always playing games (which you never see)
most fun teacher out. "look at that magnificent tree"! "We need to get those computer nerds into gear"
He's really there to support under-achievers. Manages to work around the elitism problem that management seem to support. A real battler and an asset to the school.
Peter Rea, absolutly great guy. helped me as a third former dramatically. legend at the school. can get off task at times, (epic stories that lead nowhere) but an AWESOME teacher to have ^_^
Mr Rea is da bomb. You will love his style of teaching! It is perfect for all us bottom stream guys that are unmotivated! If it wasnt for mr rea i would not have finished 6th form
"Hows the weather soldier, should we send in the troops".- Peter Rae 13/6/06
Agree wholeheartedly that Mr Rea is the best teacher at Westlake, and also a darn fine rugby and rowing coach!
He is a real great guy and a excellent teacher, but doesnt notice that the students in his class openly mock him.
Has taught me alot about the army. "if a soldier lost his gun he would be placed in a glass house for 3 months". - Peter Rae 7/6/2006
