He cannot control a large class, but it is alright when the class is small (less than 10 people). He knows his stuff, but cannot explain it well, and even though he can avoid questions, keep asking questions to make sure you are more clear about all of the topics. In my opinion, his classes are quite entertaining.

I have six years of experience with teachers at Scots and this is my first negative comment. My son has loved science until this year. He has found Mr Rutherford consistently unenthusiastic and unhelpful.

He is a terrible teacher and avoids questions. he uses other teachers resources and cant teach things himself. he has been proven wrong on multiple occasions by his students. Change class if you have him

When he teaching,he definitely do a lot of particle which is quite rare as a teacher. He also made how things work really clear. You can also ask him about not just things you learn in he can answer class other science related question. His jokes are really dry.

Mr. Rutherford is an amazing teacher, I always look forward to his classes. He has good humour and a certain way of teaching that is may be unique but is effective. He does lots of practicals and always willing to teach the students

He's a nice man but that is all i can really say about Mr Rutherford. He is the most useless teacher I have ever had. He doesn't know how to control a class and he can't teach a single topic. If you have him CHANGE CLASS
