When he teaching,he definitely do a lot of particle which is quite rare as a teacher. He also made how things work really clear. You can also ask him about not just things you learn in he can answer class other science related question. His jokes are really dry.

Mr. Rutherford is an amazing teacher, I always look forward to his classes. He has good humour and a certain way of teaching that is may be unique but is effective. He does lots of practicals and always willing to teach the students

He's a nice man but that is all i can really say about Mr Rutherford. He is the most useless teacher I have ever had. He doesn't know how to control a class and he can't teach a single topic. If you have him CHANGE CLASS

Mr Rutherford is the worst teacher I have ever had teach me in the entirety of my schooling. He doesn't know what he is talking about and regularly avoids questions by changing the subject. I don't know how he is qualified to teach and he is overall, an absolutely shocking teacher. Only good thing about him is that he is a nice guy, just clueless as f**k.

I'm sure he knows his sh/t and is a smart man - but he has absolutely no idea as to how to teach that to his students. No idea to why he is still somehow employed at Scots. He is marginally better than the sl/t the held the position before him. He's a great monotonous reader of textbooks and power point presentations though.

Brilliant guy (personality wise), however the same cannot be said about his intellectual capacity. His lack of knowledge of chemistry is very disconcerting, self directed study is essential.

He really shouldn't be teaching. He is one of the many poor teaching staff in Scot's overrated science department. Nice guy but he really would rather be rock 'hunting'. Is unable to manage a class.
