I think Mr Etheridge is a great teacher to have in y13 because while knowledgeable and covers the course, he does not spoon feed you everything, you have to be motivated to keep up yourself, it's a much more mature way of learning. Great for motivated learners but for people who are already struggling in school/are having to be forced to complete tasks, someone else might be better for you. I loved his class though :)
He knows his stuff. Gets sidetracked sometimes and talks about computers and mountain biking and motorbike racing..... He doesn't know anyone's names though. We are quite behind in the lessons compared to other classes, but we have sound knowledge of what is what.
I used to work with Mike for a number of years. Excellent teacher with unlimited patience. Pleasure to work with. Totally dedicated to Mac platform and no time for Mr Gates and his systems!!!
It takes an acute observer to understand fields such as physics. Mike enabled me to be that obeserver; it was in his discussions (not memorisation of formulae') that my true mathmatical logic was born
Very understanding and patient teacher. Always took time to explain new concepts in basic terms. Handled change management extremely well. A real MAC enthusiast and pleasure to work with
lovely person, very very intelligent, the best part of class were the times we distrated him into talking about space and conspiracy theories, really encouraged my interest in this subject
Great physics teacher, great demonstrations, subtle jokes. Not sure if he knows who I am yet though.......
He knows everything about everything. Why isn't he running the place? I don't get all of his jokes, though.
