Ms Reid was a good principal but I wished she had spent more time getting to know her students individually.

She is a good principle, but considering the amount of money we pay every year, if she doing worse that what she is doing, she would be such a lame. Also, she makes the school become way too commercialise. She should be a business woman rather than school principle

Ms Reid, has been a very good principal, she sometimes walks around the school and chats with the students. And she makes time to sign reports or sometimes even comment! Ms Reid is a great role model for the school!

She does an amazing job in a difficult role. Her style will never suit everyone, but she caters very well for the majority and gives an education to be valued so highly no one should complain.

I think that she is really cool as a person but is a bit too involved in the business aspect of the school. I also think that Kahunui hasn't been thought through as well as it should have been.

Mrs Reid is a truly extrodinary woman. Not only does she know everyone's name, but most ppl's interests and strengths. She is also a wonderful speaker, and St Cuth's is a type of business- and she does care a lot about the students!

I totally disagree with those who say she was impersonal... from my recollection she knew the names of most of the students (no small feat) and was always friendly and approachable (well, as approachable as a principal can be). She did an excellent job stepping in at a difficult time for the school

Must be a very stressful job with the reputation St Cuthberts has to live up to, so from that point of view she does very well, although can be at times she can be a bit impersonal and makes up her own mind instead of listening to the masses (i.e. regarding NCEA), rightly or wrongly.

She's rather a zealot-doesn't listen or seem to care that the vast majority of students, staff and parents are against NCEA and refuses to consider offering CIE or the IB. The Kahanui plan is a joke too. Mind you, she must have done something right-St Cuth's is doing well & has great staff.

just because assemblies can get boring doesn't mean she is not the excellent speaker she is - proof: her meaningful and almost always helpful, inspiring speeches at however many school assemblies she speaks to us in. knows the balance between authority and friendliness, seriosity and fun
