Laurie Dann is the perfect human being. The thing with Laurie is that he always has a story or helpful advice. Here are a few examples : "If you ever accidentally hit a kid, drive over them" "One time someone took my car out for a joyride and it was found at Mariehau but the steering wheel was missing, the steering wheel was the only part I liked" "Eating someone is quite an overreaction to someone eating your cheese" "I once sold my car and used the money to buy sheep"
the best think about laurie is that he hates woodend as much as me
One of the nicest uys you'll ever meet. Very knowledgable and easy going, Classics with him was so cruisy. Grea guy.
Knowledgeable and friendly, possibly the best teacher ever :)
I am quite perplexed that he doesn't use the word "correspondence" . He was quite weird from the outset.
Top notch teacher, knows his Law, knows his Classics and hopefully by now he knows the punishment system - once, he withdrew me because he didn't know you could give out detentions lol
he hates meryl streep...but a terrific teacher...knows a great deal about his subjects..and celebrities..you rock mr dann
I was in his Classics classes back in the day ('94 , '95) He was, and I trust still is, the quintessential example of a man who works to live, rather than that abhorrent alternative . Rock on Laurie
Thanks for helping sort out the classics trip mr Dann. The others are right about class control though...
hes great... he helps those who are willing to do the work. very easygoing guy hes the man!
hes awesome!!! he lets people away with not getting work done cuz its their credits theyre wasting thats how he looks at it. hes not strict enough but he rocks man!!!!!!!
Mr Dann is the man! Love the old documentries from the 70's we watch repeatedly and they way he goes to photocopy stuff and doesn't come back. Great guy!
Best teacher ever. Needs to kick the idiots out of the classroom when they pay up.
An all round nice guy. Maybe needs to get abit more strict but is pretty awesome really.
I agree with the other guy. Mr Dann deserves a medal. He's awesome. He clearly loves his subject (classics) and knows his stuff. Sometimes his notes are bit long. I met him in Rome. How cool is that?
