I first met this man atop a hill in Ancient Rome, praying to the gods to grant him the knowledge and wisdom of the ancient world. He amazed me further still in Ancient Greece where he saved a young beauty from the would be ravaging of her barbarian uncle. In Ithaca, he spent a year in silence... just to better understand the sound of a whisper. Without any further gilding the lily and absolutely no more ado, I give thee; the seeker of serenity, the on the only, Professor Kim Tattersall.
You need this man in your life. He is a joy to work for
KT was an absolute inspiration, a fantastic teacher, throughout my life I have never met anyone who could compare (which is sad really)
This man knows everything. Seriously. How does he do it? Nobody knows. Great teacher. Deserves mountains of respect.
One of the most knowledgable and intelligent teachers I have ever had.
Awsome teacher very forgiving. Knows everything in the book. I take my hat off to you Sir.
not a good teacher. Doesn't teach to everyone in the class
What a legend i just love his sense of houmor the dry sarcaism is brilliant. Cheers Sir.
The best teacher I had at school, doesnt need to discipline students cos everyone respected him so much.
I did latin in 3rd form coz i had to. Bcoz of him I did till 5th form then did classics. He is the pinnacle of teaching and gets all the praise he deserves. Cheers Mr Tats
He's truly fantastic! an awesome prep for Uni! So wise... like a miniature bhudda...
infinitely wise. he knows exactly what hes talking about, and if hes not too sure, give him half an hour and he will be. how could u give him nethng less than 5
Had Tats for 3/5 of my years at our glorious college, definately a great teacher to have.
Good shout that old boy. From another Old Boy I agree - KT is a guru. And that little room out the back of his room 136 (or whatever it is now)...make no mistake kids, that's the Tardis.
Here's one from an old boy. Its great to see that Tats is as well-respected as ever. He is the only teacher who is worth going back and rating. Staunch.
I think he has won some sort of teaching award in the past..good on him
Yeats said that education is the lighting of a fire, not the filling of a bucket. Mr Tattersall has done more than that for almost five years of Latin and Classics. Teachers should strive to be HALF as good as Tats!
Mr Tattersall is an excellent teacher, a highlight of my secondary schooling. He is inspiring and respected.
Well, he bought my Latin marks up from 45% to 80%, so what does that tell you. Such a calm teacher with such knowledge should be knighted.
This guy is a re-encarnated encyclopedia. such a good teacher
I'm not sure how, but Mr. Tattersall manages to keep control of the class without threats of punishment and teach the entire curriculum with time to spare during the year. A superb teacher
it is written that Kim Tattersal was born of Venus and his bloodline can be traced back to that of Achilles. He teaches like a true Homeric Hero.
The Man. Tatts is the greatest person to walk the face of the earth. Ever.
How can you become so, brilliant. He should reveal his secrets to other teachers. redefines intelligence
Tattersall is among the best teachers of Wellington College. His knowledge of classics is overwhelming and he presents it all in such a calm manner that one cannot help but shut up and listen. He has not once raised his voice, and still I listen.
One of the best teachers I have had the good fortune to be taught by. Impeccably prepared for all his classes, he is a wealth of knowledge, supportive and encouraging - an inspirational teacher.
Probably the best teacher at Wellington College. The most knowledgeable person I have ever met. Readily approachable, truly cares about his pupils. Good sense of humour. Maintains control by respect, not anger or threat of punishment. Brilliant.
Amazing teacher, simply superb. I have learnt more from Mr. Tattersal than from any other teacher during my schooling, he has such a wide knowledge and a brilliant ability to relate information to students in a thoroughly comprehensible way.
