Mr McGrath is a beast at economics
All us students do is copy notes off a projector. When he explains things to us, he can actually be effective. His other teaching methods are average
Rarely gets up off his chair to write on the board. Seems that extra responsibility (Dean, Soccer coach and organizer, HOD Economics) is way too much of a burden for him.
Two weeks out from exams, he decides to teach us about the history of electricity in NZ, and he was actually teaching. No computer. Pity, it was unrelated and untimely, with exams coming up...
he is about as motivated as a tortise on tranquilzers, always late to class and never teaches anything unless he really has to.
Doesn't "teach." Uses notes from student textbook(s) and has them on his own laptop, effectively taking the work away from them. Often late to class. Seems lackadasical.
Current SPC Student
Doesn't teach properly; just put notes on the board using a projector and makes us copy them. No effort at all. Late to classes 90% of the time.
Teaching methods not really that effective...Anyone could put notes up on the board and get peopel to coyp them
