OMG when i ws in her english class n we wore doin a listning test and she had the radio on a table beside her desk and the cord pluged in n 3 inches bove the ground n she flew off the desk n broke it
Mrs Haskell rocked! I was in her English class for 2 years, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Those of you that slam her - your bad english shows! Whoever rambles on about stimulating lessons perhaps should consider it's not easy to stimulate someone that doesn't want to be there.. too easy for the brainless to pick faults in such a good teacher.
I like her teaching style, she can often go off topic but it is always usful and interesting. She is really understanding of the students and is willing to help them in anyway
I noticed someone had made a comment that when Mrs. Haskell talks in class they switch off and fall asleep. We are not always interested in everything we learn, however what does it tell us if you are not able to stay awake for 40minutes to learn. You sleep you will fail. This does not make a bad teacher it makes a bad student.
Yes Mrs Haskell talks heaps but I find it is almost always topic related and very useful information or otherwise a funny anecdote which is often needed if you're having a bad day. She helps everybody to get through NCEA but in all fairness the ones who work the hardest get the most help. Mrs Haskell is also one of those teachers who doesn't get ridiculously fussy over school rules and can take a joke.
Yes Mrs Haskell is hard to follow sometimes there is n o arguement to that but i dispute that she is a useless teacher. Those who pay attention and do their absolute best to understand - and ask for help when stuck - do well. She will get those determinded to do well and who are positive through with the best marks possible for them but those who lack motivation and sit in class saying what a bad teacher she is instead of trying - well, they fail. Its quite simple really.
she is sooooooo boring!!! wheneva she starts to talk i jst switch off and fall asleep. shez useless
Really good teacher, answers all questions with so much detail I can't focuss on the whole answer! Really does talk a bit too much it can be hard to process but she always wants to help and wants you to succeed and trys her very best to get you there. Very organised and understanding - knows that sometimes you just have too much work and trys not to ovrload us.
