Mr Fountain is an excellent teacher,I remember he took time out of his busy schedule to look over my essay writing skills; acts like this are what make him such an influence and an inspiration, not only to be as helpful and selfless, but to make an influence to make him proud by improving and showing academic progress.i am now an architect and always think of Mr Fountain as a big reason for getting to where I am. Thank you sir.
What a teacher. Stunning. Absolutely stunning. Thank you, sir, for all the things you taught me over the years.
Why is this absolute genius not lecturing at Universities?? Loves the subject and is an amazing teacher.
Worse still, he is "still waiting" to move out of home. BRILLIANT!
anyone who knows this much about history deserves a medal. is often summoned by lesser history teachers for assistance in class, but gets so carried away by his facination of the subject that he ends up talking all class. fountain is king
While no master of the modern pa, he is still a great teacher
bloody legend great teacher. seems to love the word "essentially"
Brilliant teacher. Humorous, intelligent and helpful. Only downside - diverges from topic too often on subjects like Te Kooti
Gregor is a fountain of knowledge. Literally. (Gregor = cool cat).
I'm Mark, an old boy the college. Mr Fountain is one of the highlights of my secondary school education. His thorough enjoyment and knowledge of the subject was infectious, infact the infection has followed me into my tertiary education. Thanks Sir
Greatest man to walk the earth since Te Kooti. Fantastic!
His outward energy and passion for History are overly apparent in history. He harbours a wit behind it, and behind that there is a little bit of totalitarian that very occasionally escapes.
Great guy and one of the few teachers who is able to make the lesson fun and really relaxed - although you still learn a heck of a lot. Great teacher
Well... Its all been said. The mans a legend. Though a little known fact is that he is actually Batman. Well that the only explanation for his amazing teaching. A 'fountain' of knowlege. possibly the best teacher in Coll?
seriously amazing man. he manages to keep even the stoners interested in the class. Why's history on the 4th floor? those stairs strain my calfs and thieghs
i am sad that a few misguided souls have bought down the points average for this fantastic teacher. the highlight of my school day and a great guy
What a great teacher. Intelligent, interesting, funny. He makes every period great. Fantastic.
A fantastic teacher. He knows his stuff like no other teacher in the school. Great person too. He has never taught me yet i have learnt more from him than many other teachers i have had
His passion has no limits, along with his knowledge. Spitting image of Gandhi. This man was born to teach. Most importantly though, he has made a positive impact on me. He littrely is a "fountain" of knowledge. Ill take a bullet for you anyday Gandhi
Gregor is a truely amazing teacher who fuelled my passion for a subject like no other teacher has ever done before. Fantastic!
He Secretly has a burning passion to teach maths. FANTASIC
Such a fantastic guy that you wonder why he's a teacher, knowledgable, well read and an original in the classroom - only a matter of time before he's holding that clipboard and wearing that gown in assembly.
Mr Fountain is a “fantastic” teacher of the highest calibre. The fact that he was made HOD in his early thirties and also in his first year of teaching at Wellington College is a testament to his teaching ability.
I think its pretty obvious from all the positive reviews already that Mr Fountain is a superb teacher. His enthusiam for history is second to none, and that reflects heavily on his pupils' will to achieve. As he would say, "FANTASTIC!"
Amazing teaching, enthusiastic helpful and knows everything there is about history
It's difficult to think of a better teacher. Mr Fountain has passion, knowledge, humour and knows more about history acheivement standards than NCQA. If you dislike history go to Gregor and he'll change your mind faster than you can say "Te Kooti".
Fantastic, Amazing, Obsessed with Te Kooti. Just a few of the phrases one could use to describe this legend. Made my history lessons fun and enjoyable. Truly talented teacher and a genuine nice guy
Good teacher, but incomparable to the master, Mr. Tattersall. Gregor also lives in his parents' house.
One of a handful of truly excellent teachers at Wellington College. His enthusiasm is boundless, as is his knowledge. Fountain is also approachable and the epitome of everything which is good about the teaching profession.
he is so passionate about his subject and makes his lessons so good. get him off the 4th floor and into the deputy heads office. best years of history ive had
Gregor is a genius. The only reason I can think of as to why he is teaching is because he clearly loves it. The best teacher I've evr had hands down
A pasoinate teacher with an infinite knowledge of his subject (plus Te Kooti)
To coin his own phrase Mr Fountain is "Fantastic" and "Amazing". His enthusiasm is evident always and his knowledge of NZ History extensive, if not suggestive of a lack of other interests in life. I see him as a future Headmaster or MP - superb.
Best history teacher i've ever had. He'd be right up there with the best teachers i've had as well
Mr Fountain is an amazing teacher. What more can you say!
