Greg is a spectacular lecturer. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his topics, but more importantly, he expects more from his students than they expect from themselves. He demands perfection, but gives you the tools to achieve that. He taught me to be a better student and a better thinker. If all courses required the amount of effort and study Greg's do, university degrees would once again be worth something. Keep it up Greg!
I would recommend avoiding any of Greg Newbolds sociology classes if possible. Greg incoruages rope learning. His class is simply a regeratation of facts from his own text books. His teaches more like a history lesson and dose not inspire any anaylasis or critical thinking. Further more he has a reputation for being a hard and sometimes unfair marker. His only comment my assignments was "perhaps you should rethink being at universiy" he offered no feedback or assistance for improvement.
Very knowledgeable, lectures always have a personal story from him which is great for a laugh, very helpful
