Miss Kingi was one of the most influential people in my life at a critical time in my life, through her strength and wisdom I would use this information and still do in my life today.
Miss Kingi has been the backbone of St Josephs Maori Girls College for over 40yrs. She has led by example and is the epitome of Mana Wahine. I am who I am today thanks to her hard approach and disciplined teachings.
Georgina Kingi was a committed teacher who supported me throughout the years I was at Hato Hohepa. She was a very influential teacher who inspired me to strive for the best. I did. Nga mihi mahana kia koe e te whaea.
She is a woman that encourages an EXCELLENT EDUCATION for maori. Although she growls us at times for little things such as grooming. she is definately a woman to look up to.
Miss Kingi is a very good teacher and she knows what she is talking about whether you like it or not.
For me, she is the teacher who commanded the most respect from her students. She genuinely cares about all her girls, and is a brilliant (if firm) teacher.

Miss Kingi is the best teacher there is. There are reasons why she does things. We may not understand at first but it is for the best interest for us girls.

I agree. a very hard lady but only for the best of our girls futures. As a current student of S.J.M.G.C, yes I admit she is HARDOUT but shes okay. I mean shes been doing it for the last 40yrs??:)
She is one lady that will put you in your place. Although we don't have the best history together she is the best person i have met and it has got me where i am today.
Mrs Kingi is a very traditional proud maori leader, who is only looking for the best for the girls and the kura. she is a women of her word and sticks to it.
A very hard lady but she is the reason I am at university, because she never gives up on the girls at school and encourages them to achieve at an excellent level.A role model for young Maori women..

I think Miss Kingi is a teacher dedicated to her job for sure. She certianly taught me alot. I o mahi katoa mahia, as an old girl would say
