While I can agree with others who say he is the most intelligent teacher in Scots college, I cannot stress enough how condescending he can be sometimes. Unless you have nerves of steel and liked getting flamed in front of the class, do NOT ask this man a question. Ever. He has gone so far as to put people's marks for tests on the whiteboard and spend the entire lesson explaining just how terrible some of us have done. This teacher is not for everyone, which is a shame because of his potential.

Giles Moiser was ridiculously bright, a great communicator, a real Oxford gentelman of the old school. A wonderfully humble, genial human being who can convert irregular fractions to 9 dp in seconds.

Mr Moiser was the best Math teacher one could imagine. I had him at Scots as a teacher over 12 years ago. He could do additions etc backwards on the whiteboard. If I had to live the rest of my life in a class, it would be his math class. Lifted the bar when it comes to the standards of teaching. A true legend, I dont think anyone could honestly say anything bad about him. Good stuff Mr Moiser.

Is able to divide fractions in his head faster than you can type it ino your calculator. Great teacher but his coffee breath prevents you from wanting to ask for help.

Intelligent and effective. Knowledge of domain is fantastic, as is his personable disposition and genuine care for students. Could do with a packet of tic-tacs though...
