good teacher... but oh me oh my his breath...
As long as you want to work, Mr Moiser is the best maths teacher i've ever had
While I can agree with others who say he is the most intelligent teacher in Scots college, I cannot stress enough how condescending he can be sometimes. Unless you have nerves of steel and liked getting flamed in front of the class, do NOT ask this man a question. Ever. He has gone so far as to put people's marks for tests on the whiteboard and spend the entire lesson explaining just how terrible some of us have done. This teacher is not for everyone, which is a shame because of his potential.
Awesome maths teacher. Too good for Scots.
although i dont go to scots i have heard the most fantastic things about him... wish i had him as a calc teacher and maybe i would pass
Amazing person and teacher. Wish he taught me more often. Far too smart to be teaching
One smart cookie.... always wondered why he was teaching..!
total legend - anything he doesn't know about mathematics (if anything) isn't worth knowing. He's just a human brain. Sooo cool and funny and makes Calculus fun to learn.
While Giles is still at Scots, it will be in good hands
Giles is one of the people to inspire me to study Mathematics at a tertiary level. I am now doing my Masters at a top U.S. university.
best teacher iv had, will hav. clear, concise, can be lively, extremely smart, gr8 help, tries hard, does lots for the school (bascially runs it).
Giles Moiser was ridiculously bright, a great communicator, a real Oxford gentelman of the old school. A wonderfully humble, genial human being who can convert irregular fractions to 9 dp in seconds.
Got a PhD!!! Really smart. Should be something better than a teacher
Mr Moiser was the best Math teacher one could imagine. I had him at Scots as a teacher over 12 years ago. He could do additions etc backwards on the whiteboard. If I had to live the rest of my life in a class, it would be his math class. Lifted the bar when it comes to the standards of teaching. A true legend, I dont think anyone could honestly say anything bad about him. Good stuff Mr Moiser.
Is able to divide fractions in his head faster than you can type it ino your calculator. Great teacher but his coffee breath prevents you from wanting to ask for help.
Intelligent and effective. Knowledge of domain is fantastic, as is his personable disposition and genuine care for students. Could do with a packet of tic-tacs though...
very good teacher- and ridiculously smart-if he didn't get on with students so well i would have guessed he was a savant- can help all students- legend!!
From oxford. Genius. Ask him wat the square root of nething is and he'll tell u to 3dp in a couple of secs. great deb8ter, teacher, correspondent. best teachr iv eva had.he da pwrhse of da skul.
A mathematical genius. Haven't quite figured out why he is working at scot's.
I think he was possibly the gratest teacher I had and he really helped me with Calculus
Definitely the smartest teacher in the school, a hard working power-house that is a great teacher to have.
