Average; is to distant from his staff - many have never even spoken to him. And if He doesn't work with his staff were does it leave us , the students. Needs to work on more truthful communication.

He thinks he is great but don't trust him He wouldn't know the truth if he fell over it. He needs to learn to communicate with teachers and us.

Great public speaker. Can sometimes keep weekly assembly listening to his talks *cough*Mr Ronayne, Mrs Strang*cough*. Handled swine flu very well. Is a positive influence on the school. Possibly could have handled the ball situation with a second more thought, now year 11 this year (09) don't get a ball, even though they didn't do anything. Guts. Talks to students is a friendly and happy attitude, not overbearing etc.

Like his speeches, they have real meaning. I have great respect for him. I think if he associated himself with students more that would be great so that he isn't seen as the big fella in charge who sits in his office communicating with his students telepatically!!! Thanks Mr Hodge

Wow, ok, one way to cure insomnia is to just sit through one of Mr. Hodge's assemblies... At least Mr. Peachey's speeches were short, sharp and got to the point... Mr. Hodge drones on and on and on and on about I don't even know what because I was asleep half the time...

MR Hodge was my English Teacher in Mangere College back in the 80's, he was a teacher back then , not a principle so I suppose I have a different perspective on him, he was cool and could relate to us, maybe you kids on the shore dont appreciate him like we did.

I believe he will take Rangi through its next stage of success. He is also taking a very great role on for caring for his new school, reflected in yesterdays atrocities.

while Mr Peachey was sometimes overally dull, Mr Hodge doesnt seems to 'know' what he is talking about. He tries to be popularist but he is just not funny

some of his comments made in assemblies need justification, as he cannot sway a bunch of teenagers to beilive that the music they listen to is 'junk' and 'turns you brain to mush'... nice tho

A definite change to Mr. Peachy. He actually makes an effort to be out there in the school community, unlike the giant peach, of whom at times treated the student body like a group of lepers.

I do agree about his recent comment in the school news letter. "Too much sport is bad for the mind". Perhaps some justification behind his statements would help. However, i respect his efforts

Way better than Mr Peachy. Actually cares about the students, and stays for the whole assemblys, and shows greater respect to the students than Mr Peachy did. Good to see him out and about also.
