The source of numerous dinner time conversations
Brilliant favourite teacher I've ever had wish I could take history next year on the off chance I could have him for a third year
he is by far the best history teacher i have ever had
Mr Mcnulty is by far my favourite teacher. He knows his stuff and makes jokes about throwing kids out windows. all I ask in a teacher.
if that man becomes president
Mcnulty is one of the most knowledgeable people I know. His class taught me a giant amount on a variety of subjects and is always enjoyable... But DON'T get on his bad side.
Firm but fair. Knows his stuff. No issues. Some of those who complain about not being treated as adults when using their devices in class should ask them selves if they are always using them properly anyway
Taught my son in year 9. Always a source of conversation at the dinner table. Inspirational.
Marvellous effort that
Has anyone ever told you that you are good at singing?
Yes - They lied
No - I wonder why
Exceptional teacher. I heard his scholarship results are the best in the entire country. No surprise ther
In my opinion Mr. McNulty is one of the best teachers ever
He is one of the best teachers I know.
Within 12 years of the war ending, many of the heroes were discovering that their bravery of the battlefield and in conflict was of no use as they had mouths to feed and homes to sustain. One of these happend to be the great manColm McNulty himself. xox
A very very good teacher, strict but very knowlegable.
Although at the start of the year he seem like an angry leprecaun. He is a great teacher and extremely knowledgable. I had a great year
He is a great teacher and knows what he is talking about. I love his rugby references and the class was good but not too easy. I enjoyed History with him
Mr McNulty is a very interesting and good teacher. he is a very clear teacher and will tell you anything you need to know about rome, antarctica and world war 1. 5 stars hands down
awesome - just look at his results. rather him that one of the others teaching me
Knew the "boy" in college, before he was a legend. Was his roommate at the station house and could tell you stories about sleeping bags that would curl your toes. I think he still has my nike jumper!
Seems to polarise opinion a bit on here but if you play fair with him, he is one of the best teachers in the school. He won't take no shi.t . The assassination of the archduke franz ferdinand
A good teacher, a bit tough when outside class but a awesome teacher and has some interesting stories!!
can scare the bejaysus out of you if you cause trouble but always fair and never picks on someone for no good reason
the last assessment of him is fair. brilliant knowledge
where has the legend gone ? A bit firey in class but never unreasonable. Play fiar with him and he will with you .
taught me for a few years. made the subject really interesting
Get this man to tell you a storie they can be simply amazing!! absolutly awsome teacher!......oh and do your homework or watch out!!!
love him in class hate him in the library. what more can i say. However, he doesnt have a bar of you if your hungover on a thursday morning.
Passionate teacher and gets significant admiration for his fantastic teaching ability and knowledge. Good Guy. Definately a good laugh while your at it
I was fortuanate enough to have him for two years, and he was a great teacher. Has a passion and knowledge for history and commands the respect of his classes.
Great teacher loved history and passed with great results due to his teaching style and story telling ability. His displays of anger out side Guantanamo Bay (the military library) let him down.
Not as angry this year as he was last. Though when you minus one from infinity there really isn't much difference.
He was a fantastic history teacher, that allowed me to gain top marks in the subject. But moving on, in current times he is too stroppy in the library, and padantic to a point of annoyance. Throws spectacular psyches that are entertaining.
I was privledged enough to have him as my form teacher in '03. His regular outburts of fury are one of my fondest memories of WC and are truely funny as hell to witness. Ultimately he is Irish, and as such, a superb story teller. Great teacher
this lepricorn is a total nut case! he knows his stuff and is a very good teacher and can prepare you well but his fluxuating temper is just frustrating. He lives the dream that he owns the library and takes a small matter too far, blowing it up.
McNulty is a real character with a great love for history, especially NZ history, which is strange considering he has only lived here for 7 or 8 years. His sometimes irrational anger can be unnerving, but its tolerable at the end of the day. Great.
Funny guy but can be a bit tempermental, if hes angry get away but if hes in a good mood then no one greater,
One of the most knowledgable men i have ever met and has no troubles communicating this knowledge, a great teacher and a nice guy (assuming you stay on his good side)
Certainly knowledgeable, and all-round a good guy. Cross that fine line though, and you'll know all about it. Approachable, especially out of the classroom.
This year Mcnulty is teaching me history and so far i cant falt. Top noch.
In my list of top five teachers to have a beer with (guiness of course) when I leave school. Colm has the intimidation factor but the knowledge and enthusiasm to back it up
This teacher is great! He has a wealth of knowledge regarding European conflict, and he has a genuine concern for the welfare of students. Watch out though because he really can fire up if you steal his lucky charms!
