Doesn't mark the proper marking criteria. she never gets around to giving us our marks from term 1 and we are in term 4. Sends kids out of the class for minor things which effects there learning.
Ms Frykberg is quite the character. There is no way to like her unless you are a girl and even then it's very difficult to do so. When she actually decides to turn up to school, her classes are unengaging and a waste of my time. I can say now at the end of the year that I have learnt nothing from her. She gets extrememly sidetracked during spells and will often start ranting about unnecessary sh"t. That being said, she is very passionate about classics - however I never signed up for that.
She seemed to change subjects, kick kids out of class even if they hadn't done anything and arrived late a lot to classes, even up to 15 minutes late, this isn't good enough.
Spells with her are the most boring times of my day.
Frykbergs passion stretches to the moon and back- passion for her subject, passion for her students and their success. This passion is reflected in Frykbergs teaching. Lessons with 'the Fryk' are engaging and fascinating. In the classroom, Frykberg is a fan of lectures- her topics may flow in any direction guided by student interest, and self initiated learning. What the student contributes to class, Frykberg will return in the seventh-fold, going above and beyond to ensure student achievement
If a teachers worth was measured by passion alone, Mrs Frykberg would be the best teacher in human history. As there are a lot of other factors to consider, she is sadly constrained to the top 5. Anthe Frykberg is one of the most vibrant passionate people you have ever met. She opens herself up to you the moment you meet and offers you everything she can do to help you learn and do fantastically. From you she expects the same, and if you aren't fully committed class will be difficult. <3 <3 <3
Adorable but hopeless. She knows what she's talking about but she gets really sidetracked. You will need your textbook or you will know nothing. Deff fun though
Mrs. Frykberg was my tecaher in History and I could say she is quite knowledgeable when it comes to it. Is it just me or is it just me that thinks there is soomething wrong with her but I cant figure out what it is, is it her fashion? her voice? her name? or is it just nothing?
I know for some students, she is helpful, but You should definetly make sure you get a try of Mrs Mcglone.
Man, Mrs. Frykberg is awesome. She teaches me year 9 social studies and even makes the boringer subjects you do in Year 9 at least entertaining if not actually fun. Very passionate about teaching. A bit easily side-tracked but still by far one of my favourite teachers. =)
she is a legend not the best teacher in the world but she will go down a legend!
Oh my god! She is the best Classics teacher ever. she is really funny and kind. She has a good sense of humour
Never forgets her coffee( she always forgets her keys)real nice teacher though. Bit of a classics geek as well. You're a great teacher mrs f! ! !
Best teacher in the school. Who doesn't like their Classics teacher anyway? My Idol. Am sure she has something for Alexander tho and goes off in tangents alot lol. so cool. Keep up the good work Ms F!!! :)
after the disaster that was history last year... Mr Chocquette >:-(... Classics is a breath of fresh air. fun and engaging i find myself learning faster than i thought possible. Highly recommended!
she is very interesting but can be a bit boring and grumpy
Will never forget the day she demonstrated greek dancing. Very funny and very memorable
In the Odyssey that was year 13 classes, Frykie guided us through like Athene guided Odysseus, and supported us like Hesphaistion guided Alexander.....ok maybe not quite like that
All depends on the day with this woman. But I love her to bits! Classics trip would not have been the same without her! Cheers Miss!
This teacher is a mixed bag, Onslows finest, but that is not nessisarily an achievement. Intense passion without proper organisation, inspiring but not nessisarily helpful. Still, inspiring and helpfu
Her passionate and at times eccentric behaviour can be a little disarming for those used to the lifelessness of so many others teachers, but a year in her classics class was a rewarding time
Ms F ROCKS!I've never come across a teacher who has a fraction of the passion that she holds for her subject.Eccentric&energetic she is a genuinely lovely person who truely cares about her students.
quite vibrant, pasionate about classics. she's a dag, in every good sense naturally
good teacher, goes of on alot of tangents, but that can always be good, such as going off and having a discussion on philosophy etc... very cool :D
Very friendly! even to students that aren't in her subjects, she gets involved with school activities, and is always a great person to speak with if you have issues :D she's the BEST!
She's so passionate about Classics! Tends to get sidetracked but is generally clear and concise. She knows heaps about her subject and is a genuinely lovely person.
Great teacher. Have enjoyed multiple years in her class. Her genuine care of her students makes her a likeable teacher. Rant and rave all you like, we're learning.
Great personality with a humangous passion for her subject. Mrs Frykgberg is very patient and caring and has been a great catalyst for my knowledge increase. Yet has some organisation issues.;-)
A passionate teacher who cares about her students succeding. 5/5
Easily sidetracked, which can be good....sometimes. But she loves what she teaches and seems to love the students in her classes and is very helpful when trying to aim for merit/excellence
Good teacher:) we had some fun times in classics back in 2003
Puts every little bit of her Cypriot passion into her subject, and then gives out chocolate.
Cool teacher with an extreme passion for classics. Sometimes gets away from the point she is making and ends up teaching us something completely different but her classes are still good..
